Keep Accessible Sites Accessible

Monthly accessibility monitoring that catches small issues before they turn into big ones.

Worried your accessible site won’t stay that way?

Accessibility drifts. Someone uploads an image without alt text. A plugin update changes the markup on a form. A new landing page uses a button color that fails contrast. None of it is dramatic, and that’s why it goes unnoticed for months.

Monitoring gives your site a monthly check-in. I look at what’s changed and flag anything that needs attention while it’s still a quick fix.

Who monitoring is for

  • Agencies that want to offer clients ongoing accessibility care without building it in-house.
  • Business owners whose sites are updated often with new pages, posts, or products.
  • Anyone who has invested in an audit and remediation and wants to protect that work.

What Agencies Say

I’ve been lucky to work with thoughtful designers, developers, and agencies who care about doing this right. Here’s what they’ve shared about working together.

“This service will allow me to create more accessible websites.”

“The Accessibility Audit received from Cheryl was incredibly helpful! As a designer/developer, I could easily digest the report and implement the changes right away. It was clean, easy to follow, and the added video recording walking through the changes is a huge bonus. Being able to leverage this service on my client projects will allow me to create more accessible websites, knowing I have Cheryl as a trusted resource to lean on.”

“I’d be crazy not to have her look over every build.”

Kyle Van Deusen
OGAL Web Design

“As a web agency owner, I know that building accessible websites is important. I do my best to understand the fundamentals, keep up with changes, and use best practices — but it’s impossible to get everything right. So when Cheryl mentioned she was offering accessibility audits, I was all over it.

I got my first report back from her (which was not only detailed and helpful — but came with a walkthrough video where she explained everything) and I’m blown away! All the information was well organized easy to digest, and actionable. Not only did it help make my latest project more accessible, it taught me about things to look out for on my next project.

This won’t be the last time I hire her — I’d be crazy not to have her look over every build before it goes live!”

What’s Included

Monthly Automated Scans

I scan the site every month to catch common issues like missing alt text, empty links, contrast failures, and form label problems.

Light Manual Checks

Automated tools miss things, so I spot-check new and updated pages with a keyboard and screen reader.

Monthly Summary Report

Each month you get a short, plain-language summary of what changed on the site, what I found, and how to fix it.

Ongoing Record of Your Work

Every monthly report is saved, so over time you build a documented history of the care that’s gone into the site.

How It All Works

Get Started

We talk about the site, how often it changes, and who updates content. If the site hasn’t been audited yet, we start there.

Set Up

I record a baseline of the site’s current state, so each month’s report shows what’s changed.

Monthly Monitoring

Every month I scan, spot-check, and send your summary. If something needs fixing, you’ll know exactly what and how.

Investment

Starts at $127/month for spot checks on up to 3 new or updated pages per month. Larger or busier sites are quoted based on size.

Note: A post-launch audit and remediation is required before monitoring begins. Monitoring keeps an accessible site accessible; it isn’t a replacement for the initial audit.

Let’s Answer What I Think You’ll Ask

Here’s what agencies and business owners usually want to know before starting

An audit is a snapshot of one moment. Websites keep changing as content gets added and plugins update, and every change is a chance for a new issue. Monitoring catches those changes early.

Monitoring compares each month against a known accessible starting point. That starting point comes from a post-launch audit and remediation, or from project consulting if I reviewed the site before it launched. Without one, the monthly reports would fill up with old issues and the new ones would get lost.

Every month I scan the full site and check up to 3 new or updated pages by hand. Larger sites, sites that change often, and sites with a store or member area are quoted based on their size.

It goes in your monthly summary with a clear explanation of the fix. Your team can handle it, or I can fix it for you, quoted separately.

Yes. If I already manage your site, monitoring can be added to your website management plan for a bundled rate of $107/month. Your updates, backups, and accessibility checks all stay with one person who already knows the site.

Yes. Monthly reports can be sent under your agency’s name, so accessibility monitoring fits into the care plans you already sell.

No. Monitoring is month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
